Job description: 1. Contribute to the development of the overall school vision and ensure that pupils, staff and parents all understand and subscribe to that vision. 2. Cooperate with the Foreign Head in the day-to-day running of the department. 3. Responsible for the short-term operation of the department in the absence of the Foreign Head. 4. Participate in the development and regular updates of policies and procedures are made in liaison with the school leadership team 5. Support with the department budget in liaison with the Foreign Head 6. In conjunction with the Head of EY, take part in the recruitment, orientation, induction and professional development of all staff 7. Oversee Parental Communication, both in terms of the parent communication 8. Policy and dealing with parental concerns and complaints, as needed. 9. Fully responsible for the day-to-day running of the department and ensure school safety and compliance. 10. Take responsibility for the operation of all events and assemblies, ensuring the smooth running of events whilst taking into consideration the use of facilities in the department 11. Implement the relevant national laws, regulations, policies and local regulations, and establish and organize the implementation of the rules and regulations of the early years 12. Responsible for care and education, health care and security 13. Responsible for communicating and cooperating with the community Job requirement: 1. Minimum of master’s degree 2. Full teaching qualifications/credentials 3. Minimum of 5 years PYP teaching experience 4. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role 5. PYP or Bilingual language programe Experience is preferred· 6. Life-long learner with passion for education 7. International mindedness and intercultural competency 8. Strong organizational skills and pioneering spirit 9. Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills 10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 11. Excellent English language skills
